No Light Without Darkness

For being a goth, I've realized my site has no horror. That changes now. This page is for horror and horror media. Horror is critical in our world. Horror discusses topics that are avoided in polite society. Horror forces people to look at the rotten underbelly of our society and the chaos of our world. Horror is the security cameras on infant formula and the foster children sleeping in state parks. However, horror can also be used regressively, such as the rise of religious horror and the slasher genre in tandem with women's liberation, no-fault divorce and the classification of domestic violence as a crime in the 1970s and 1980s. This is why horror must be treated as a legitimate artform and not the pulp trash that many academics treat it as.
