Deckbuilder JRPGs and Petrology

I'm glad my vacation is over and I'm back to work! Today I learned that aluminum melts at ~1300 F, not 1300 C. I definitely didn't learn this because of someone melted an aluminum pan. I was able to save the day with chemistry and got to use concentrated hydrochloric acid. It was nice to work with something a bit more dangerous than usual. It makes me feel alive to work through how to handle something safely. I've also got to deal with a reading a textbook and a ton of other materials for my classes next week.

I've started playing Baten Kaitos too. It's a deckbuilding JRPG from the GameCube era. It was recently remastered along with its prequal for the Nintendo Switch this year. I played it when I was 11 or 12 but the game was far too complex for me at that age and I couldn't beat it. Now I have the JRPG brain worms that make me run back and forth in the same spot for hours on end. Grinding in JRPGs is addictive and the numbers go up!

I've got plans for March with the rest of the polycule coming up and I've been working on babywormcore gift bags for them and basically structuring the whole itinerary to make sure that things go off without a hitch. I've already got meal plans written out for every day, am managing the finances and logistics of it, and trying to make it optimal. I want them to move here and this is my attempt to convince them. I don't really buy into Jungian typology but I definitely feel the "j" part of it.
