Minecraft Map, Neopets, Grad School Sucks

I'm not doing much for Thanksgiving this year. Grad school is kicking my ass and my dad is at the beach for the holiday. I have to read a 30 page journal article and prepare a presentation on it next week then a paper is due the week after that. So, really, this isn't even much of a break for me. Now add my job on top of that. In addition, making this site has become a bit of an obsession and it's hard to put it down to do the stuff I actually need to.

Grad school is hard as nails. There are days I genuinely ask why I did this to myself and wish I hadn't started in the first place. A lot of people believe in me too and that creates a fair deal of pressure. I try to keep in mind that, in geology, metamorphosis occurs under heat and pressure. My advice on grad school is don't just go because it's the next step, you need to have the fire in you because there's going to be some days and weeks that kick your ass.

My husband and my girlfriend love the site (yes, I'm poly) and I have plenty of plans for it. I've started to make a minecraft survival island that is babywormcore and I'm also considering getting a neopets guild going. There's a discord in the works as well, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Long story short, I want babywormcore to grow and flourish into a community and I'm gonna do it by making as much stuff to engage people who visit here as possible.
