I love Sailor Moon. My grandpa recorded every episode of it on VHS when it was on TV in the 90s and has several Sailor Moon tattoos. I've also got a Sailor Moon tattoo. Madoka Magicka is another anime I love and I've definitely pulled elements from it into my fiction. Kill La Kill is probably my favorite? If I had a kamui like Senketsu, things would definitely be different around here. I have an idea for a story with magical girls but with some queerness and John Wick mixed in.
Also, medieval stuff is back in my brain. I love that my spin (a spin is like your special interest but without the word 'special') is medieval stuff. I'm back into reading this book on everyday medieval history and it's just so wild to realize that a feudal manor was effectively a large family. Even the king couldn't intervene in a lot of disputes between a manor lord and his serf. Aralise is going to be very distraught to realize how powerless she is under that system.
Also, my bottom surgery got moved again. It's BS but I'm just trying to stay calm. It works out financially and I am just trying to see the bright side. I hate that I'm at the mercy of so many things beyond my control for a medical procedure I need.
