I Love Junji Ito

My girlfriend got me Shiver and Tomie as gifts and I've finished both as of today. I cannot believe that Tomie was the first thing he got published. I've been picking the books up and reading them every day. FYE has a buy one get one 50% off deal on manga so I picked up Smashed and Deserter as well. He is a genius of his craft and its really gotten me into manga, which wasn't really the most exciting thing to me. I want to get Soichi, Gyo, and the rest of his manga but I've realized that even used copies of his works are expensive.

I've applied to a scholarship and I'm waiting on that. I've got three papers I'm working on at the moment, two peer reviewed articles and my proposal. My presentation to my committee went so well that they moved up my proposal from Fall to end of Summer. I am a victim of my own success.

Clowncore has been on my mind since watching Amazing Digital Circus. Gooseworx has some really esoteric content and I love it! Check it out! I've been looking at the circus club on campus because they do aerial acrobatics, but their meeting times are very hard to meet. Maybe I should stick to my ukulele, that I got Hello Kitty Stickers for. Kuromi is my homie.
