Crystal Project and Nautilus Time

Grad school started this week and it's been hard but I'm already learning so much. I've had to put about an hour a day of reading and my brain is expanding! I may get to present on the stable isotope ratios of nautilus shells and write a paper on the isotopic ratios of the claws of my cat. I really wish I could study more on botany and paleontogy and I could really use it but I don't think I have the time.

Baten Kaitos is a game I'm still playing but its slowed down significantly. I'm feeling wiped out and it's difficult to deal with the work I have on my plate let alone playing video games. I found this game Crystal Project that is a metroidvania-JRPG-platformer lovechild that lets me shut my brain off a bit more and I've been playing that.

The other two members of the polycule are still coming up in March and I've got all the major plans done exact for the national park that won't update their schedule. I'm going to go to the sake brewery in town in order to pick out a flavor of sake for the anime night. I've got a long road there, but it's keeping my spirits high.
